Gatsby stops having parties because he got Daisy attention and wants privacy.

The confrontation between Tom and Gatsby well it's over Daisy Tom mocks Gatsby's habits Gatsby tells tom "your wife doesn't love you."Tom accuses Gatsby of running a bootlegging.
On the way back to long island Myrtle gets hit by a yellow car and the car sped away.Daisy and Gatsby were in the yellow car. Tom thinks that Gatsby was the one who hit Myrtle.
At the end of chapter 7 Tom and Daisy leave they just go leaving things like that.This tells us that Daisy can care less about anyone but herself.
